創業100周年のごあいさつ

おかげさまで、岩田地崎建設は、2022年4月をもって創業100周年を迎えることができました。

顧みますと、1922（大正11）年4月、創業者岩田徳治が、ただ1人で借り物の電話1本と自転車1台から土木建築請負業「岩田組」の看板を掲げて以来〝はや一世紀〟。

一口に百年と申しましても、この永い年月の間には、筆舌に尽くし難い辛酸と試練の日々がありました。それを克服し、常に人々と共に歩み、成長し、今日の岩田地崎建設を築きあげることができたのも、ひとえにお客様、お取引先様をはじめとするご関係の皆様、そして、当社の役職員とそのご家族の皆様方のご尽力の賜と心より深謝申し上げます。

創業100周年を迎えた今、当社に求められているのは、これまでとは違う〝新しいステージ〟での有り様であり、その創造です。デジタルトランスフォーメーション、ＢＩＭ／ＣＩＭ等、生産性の向上を図るための積極的な取組やカーボンニュートラルへの取組、そして、「Ｗｉｔｈコロナ」時代における働き方改革のより一層の推進・実現に向けて、業界のみならず国内外の政治や経済、社会の動向、技術の進歩等にも注視しながら新しいステージでの展開が必要となります。

その根幹をなすのが、必竟、如何なる変化にも柔軟に対応できる新しい物の観方や考え方、組織、取り組み方、そして、それを牽引する人財の育成であると考えます。

これらのことを踏まえながら、当社は、これからも、社会に貢献し、企業としての存在価値を認めていただける会社であり続けるよう110年、150年、200年、その先を目指して誠心誠意、努力して参ります。

100th Anniversary Greeting

IWATA CHIZAKI INC. is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its founding in April 2022. On behalf of all of us at IWATA CHIZAKI INC., I would like to express our deepest appreciation for your continued support that has enabled us to reach this major milestone.

Our company’s history dates back to April 1922, when our founder, Tokuji Iwata, started the construction contracting business IWATA-GUMI with a rental telephone and a bicycle.

It is hard to believe that it has already been a century since then.
However, it has not been an easy path. Our journey over these long years has been arduous with a series of indescribable hardships.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our customers, business partners, and all the parties concerned, as well as our executives, employees and their families, who have helped us to overcome these difficulties, grow together, and build the IWATA CHIZAKI INC. that exists today.

Now that we are celebrating our 100th year anniversary, we need to reach a new level in order to make a difference.
Our initiatives moving forward will include BIM/CIM and other proactive initiatives for higher productivity amidst calls for digital transformation, and the further promotion of work style reforms in the so-called “with corona” era in which we are coexisting with COVID-19. We are also continuing to contribute to the realization of a carbon neutral society. In order to realize these goals, we are keeping an eye on not only industrial trends but also domestic and international political, economic, and social trends, as well as technological advancements.

At the core of our new initiatives will be new perspectives, new ways of thinking, innovative approaches, an organization that can flexibly adapt to any change, and the development of human resources with effective leadership.

With these practices in mind, we are determined to make the utmost effort to be recognized as a company of significance that is contributing to society over the next 10, 50, 100 years and beyond.
